Floto Ciabatta Briefcase
The Ciabatta Brief is a classic three gusset litigator bag made with full grain leather and our new durable brass tuck lock. The calfskin leather for this bag was hand tanned Etruscan style in the heart of Tuscany to soften, patina, and develop a silky touch. Only vegetable extracts and natural oils were used to create rich, vibrant color and a tender, semi-gloss finish. The inside is leather lined for extra durability.

Floto Locks Crush Competition
One of the most important things to consider when buying a leather briefcase is the latch – this is usually the first part that will break or wear out over time. Our brass locks are top quality and have proven to hold up better over time than competition. We designed this lock to be easily replaceable in the event that you loose your key and have to pry it open or it simply wears out over years of use.
You can rest easy knowing that your Floto lock is covered for the life of your product

Italian Vegetable Tanned LeatherAt Floto we prefer to work with genuine hand stained vegetable tanned leather. The supple skin has a sweet scent, is easy to cut and sand, strong and flexible, and does not contain any toxic or harmful substances. |
Durable Canvas LiningOur second most important ingredient, the bag lining, is made at a textile mill in South Carolina. Our American made 8 ounce cotton duck canvas lining is soft and durable. |
Handcrafted in ItalyAll Floto leather bags are handcrafted in Florence, Italy by skilled artisans practicing techniques handed down for generations. |

Genuine Hand Stain
Artisans in the hills of Tuscany carefully hand stain each Floto leather skin by using a special cotton sponge and non-toxic vegetable based stain.

We Stand By Our Products
Floto is an American brand. Every Floto leather bag is artisan made in Italy, but it was designed and packaged in the United States. As a small family owned company we are thankful and grateful for your business. We stand by all of our products to ensure you can enjoy them as much as I do. If you experience any problems with your Floto bag during its natural life you can send it to our Connecticut workshop for repair. Please let us know if we can be of any help along the way.
